In March 1962, David Murray tried hard to bring his 1956 Le Mans winner Ninian Sanderson back into the legendary Scottish team back at the Sarthe to share the new Tojeiro EE-Climax Coupe with Tommy Dickson, but he preferred a TVR instead (which became an early retirement). David Murray by then had turned to veteran journeyman driver Jack Fairman. Ecurie Ecosse ran this car in the 1962 Le Mans 24 Hours. Dave and I spent ages looking for a decent set of drawings and reference photographs but with little success, this car isn't very well documented - there loads of pictures of the renovated/re-created Buick powered car but not the original Coventry-Climax engined car.
